I came to UEC on the night of 2nd April. The first impression of UEC is that the gate of this university is very small so that I had an imagination that this university is actually very small, which became true after I get familiar with the general outline of UEC. It was a little disappointed to discover this, but this disappointment soon disappeared after I came into my room in the International House.

It was a single room!! OMG! The only single room that I lived in since I was born is my room in my house, even in the trip I have to share the single room's bed with my dad, who often occupied 80% of the bed.

What amazed me more is that in this single room, there are a fridge, a hot-water shower room, a set of cooking device and an air-condition. You know in Chinese dorm, only a hair drier can let the power switch shut down due to the power restriction of each room.

In addition of the single room, the International House has a nice lobby with many useful and interesting things in it. And there is no limit on the time that you have to get back to the dorm, so we can get in and out of the International House freely.

Besides, the students of UEC are really interesting, especially Naoki san and Nae san. Naoki san can speak good Chinese and we like him to be the guide whenever we are on a trip or just go to some place. Nae san is a cute Japanese girl who likes smiling a lot, no matter she has understood what you said or not. She and Emily are good friends.

Even though UEC is a small university, I still believe I will be very happy studying here because things here are much better than in china and I have lots of interesting friends here so that I won't be lonely at all.
